What? This weight hasn't come off yet? But it's water weight, I swear! And I even worked out yesterday and everything!

Okay, I'm done now. Gonna try not to obsess over this, and give it another couple of days. And I will stick to my diet 100%, no cheating, and it'll work.

Aaaand guess what! I found a great little gym that's not far and it's a 24 Hour fitness fit-lite location. Which means it's a circuit training gym. My bf and I walked by it on Saturday and I said "Oh, I've heard about this! Let's check it out and see what it's about." Next thing I knew we were making an appointment to come by the next day and try the circuit. I already have a 24 Hour membership and Jon got one of those temporary free passes to try it with me.

By the way, making appointments seems to be a great way to get me in the gym. When I had a personal trainer for awhile I almost never skipped a session. I'm much more likely to let myself down, but when there's another person involved, I feel bad flaking on them.

So we did the circuit, and the lady who took us through it was really awesome. And they play actual good music there instead of the dance crap they usually play at gyms. That's important, because you can't really listen to an iPod there. You have to be able to hear the chime that lets you know it's time to move to the next station.

It felt great! And I loved the fact that it's a predefined, full-body workout, where you never have to think about what you'll do next or what machines are free, plus it's only 30 minutes if you do it once. And not having to count reps is particularly freeing. If Jon and I end up going together on weekends (I hope) then we'll be able to talk the whole time without worrying about losing count.

So all in all, I think this is a great way for me to get back into working out. It's a well-balanced workout and great for burning fat. I'm excited!
142.4 lb Lost so far: 9.6 lb.    Still to go: 12.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
