Good morning!

No change in weight, but a change in body fat percentage. I'm down a full percent, which indicates a fat loss. That's fine.

Of course, I'd rather that the weight was nudged a little lower too, but it's not the most important part of the mission.

I did great yesterday. I had 2200 calories, and burned 3000. It's a good deficit, but not so low as to start taking away muscle mass. It's perfect. The macros were right too.

I'm counting on doing the same thing today. Let's do it!

...

I really want to get the weight and the eating back into gear, and do right. I'm getting better and better, and seem to be less inclined to stumble. Never say never, though. lol.

I have all my meals planned out for today, it's all written down, macros are counted and all. All I need to do it keep to it.

...

It's raining today, so it'll be harder to go walk. I hope it'll pass, so I can get out there.

...

I haven't done the HIIT at all this week. I did it over the weekend.

I had set myself up to doing it on non-workout days, Tuesday being the first one. I just couldn't do it. 2nd sprint killed me, and I had to call it quits. It wasn't the worst day for that to happen, as we still walked 20,000 steps in the streets of Copenhagen, but still. It bothered me that I couldn't do it.

I might give it another try today if the rain doesn't stop.

I really didn't think it would be all that hard. I mean, it's basically the same as I always do when I bicycle, only with those little sprints. I had no idea how much they would be murder. lol. Of course, that's what happens if you give 100%, right? It's SUPPOSED to be that way.

...

So, yesterday was an interesting day.

I had a visit from a journalist from a national magazine.

They have a contest called "Loser of the year", about people who went though amazing weight loss transformations.

Apparently, I'm a candidate to win this thing. LOL. I didn't even know it existed!

Long story short, they were here yesterday, him and a photographer, to hear the story about the weight loss journey, take some pictures and make some notes of my approaches to it all.

They were telling me that we I (we?) am doing is quite different from what a lot of the other candidates have done. They liked that I am less fanatic and more relaxed about the whole thing. They liked that I am knowledgable about losing weight on a whole different level than most. They liked that I am now able to share my experiences and help others lose weight.

I truly appreciated those compliments.

Also... if I win this thing, there's a check for something that equals $3,000 for me, for traveling. Not bad. Especially since I now fit better in an airplane seat. :)

...

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Wife!
- A good day yesterday.
- Priority and consistency.
- Morning coffee.

Have a great Thursday! Life is good!

Hey don't gang up on me, now! LOL. I went to the gym, did the HIIT. INSANE burn. Heart rate reached 210 6 times. That ought to do it. :)
