Good Morning! Well once again I have to eat crow. tee hee I lost weight again this week and all I have done is whine because I did not see it until today. I have to get my head straight. It is just that I am so afraid I cannot do this I think. I have had great progress but I do not know why I keep thinking I will fail. Maybe because I have always gained the weight back before. It is hard to say. I just have to keep working on the emotional part of my journey. Talk to you later.

It must be a clue ... perhaps some type of unintentional self sabotage ... where you stay stuck seeing yourself as a failure so you won't be disappointed when you gain weight again? We are both doing this differently than we have done before. It is scary ... I too am struggling more than I would like to ... not with the weight loss but with believing that I can avoid the yo-yo ... I never have avoided the yo-yo ... what makes me think I can do it now? You'll do fine ... I'm keeping a wet noodle around in case you decide to feel all down in the dumps again ... tee hee!!!

Are there calories in crow??? :-) Yes, you will do this and yes you can keep it off. I kept mine off for many, many years, maybe 20-25 years, never allowing myself to go over 5 pounds above my goal. Then I traveled overseas for the first time 3 1/2 years ago and for some strange reason I thought I could eat more. Does food in Italy or China have less calories than locally. I think not. So that is what I am struggling to lose, only this time when I get back to where I was, I will be wiser when I travel overseas again or anywhere. Lesson learned and you will also learn lessons during your weight loss journey. Once you reach your goal you will always be aware of what you need to do to stay there. Look at your weight loss history, impressive Judi, when you get discouraged look at that and be encouraged. You will do this. :-)
