Jenfar's Journal, 14 January 2014

Ihhh! yesterday had to tighten my bikini strings on the hips! Felt good....weight still does not want to go down to the 59's zone but tape measure is showing improvement. Jeans also not feeling tight...fingers crossed! yesterday only had a piece of cake for dinner as it was my eldest daughter's birthday - 21 years...after gym walked straight up to bedroom and avoided the kitchen, my worst pit stop. Should do this more often as i did not snack at all in the eve!.... and chia seeds arrived today so will be having a tsp sprinkled on greek yogurt and strawberries.

Let me know how you like the chia. Besides being a great source of fiber & Omega 3's, I think that you'll find that they give you more energy & keep you feeling full longer.

I like the chia... what's normal intake - i had 1 tsp with yogurt at 12 after fasting since 6pm yest. Come to think of it i was sluggish in the morn but held up high in the afternoon...could be the chia...can i take before gym maybe?

Sounds like you are going fantastic - love to see those clothes getting too big. Good for you - I'm going to check out those Chia seeds too. Hope you have a great day!

I don't know that I will ever be small enough to wear a bikini again, but am trying to get smaller to warrant buying myself a few new suits this year. You are really motiving. Keep up the good work!

Jenfar, the daily recommendation is 2 tablespoons per day. I usually take one tablespoonful when I break my fast in the early afternoon, and then I add another to my yogurt for desert after my last meal of the day. I have been known to add another just before long hikes, especially on hot summer days.
