Nice to see the weigh-in go down finally. Yesterday enjoyed a trip to the Cinema which is down the roaad from our house. Watched Captain Phillips of Tom Hanks! A one to watch movie guys! ....and it was partly shot in Malta ( Sea scenes and Freeport) a lot of Films have been shot in Malta and I don't know if you ever noticed! Like Munich of Spielberg and Troy (Brad Pitt)! Well if you are staying in, it's a good movie based on a true story in 2009! Resisted the popcorn and nachos at the cinema and drank water! So it helped my weigh in this morning!
135.4 lb Lost so far: 0.9 lb.    Still to go: 9.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good for you at the cinema! I've been thinking of going to that show as well. Good to know it's worth it. We went to see Wolf of Wall Street the other day - what a DUD! When we go to the show, I don't even look at the food counter - can't cos I love that popcorn. A small bag is a whopping 1100 calories (or close to it). So not worth it. Have a great day!

Congratulations on the weight drop! I knew that it would come around. We went to the cinema on New Year's Day and saw Tom Hanks playing Walt Disney. Its based on the life of the woman that wrote the Mary Poppins series of books and the troubles in her life and the tribulations she caused Disney in getting the film made. It was very interesting and entertaining. This was my first trip to see a movie without buying popcorn. It took some adjustment, but as Lynn pointed out, there are just too many calories in it. 55 calories per cup, and I'm sure that I usually eat 10 cups or more.

Want to watch both films! Lynn what do you mean by DUD? sorry don't sometimes get it. Does it mean good or a flop? Ah they make the popcorn smell so good! Resist cos it's loaded!

I want to see that movie, too. I give a big Kudos to you for resisting the popcorn. There's nothing like it. You could actually burn calories (I think) by not eating it--just smelling it and thinking about it would burn calories--LOL.
