Eating what I want but making healthy soups so I feel good about it. Having a hard time staying away from chocolate and soda......but cutting down.....so a step in the right direction. Thanks for the support!
164.5 lb Lost so far: 0.5 lb.    Still to go: 19.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi hon - yep, the best we can do is make that first step in the right direction. I am a huge fan of soup - I like to keep a pot simmering on the stove all the time. It's amazing how much water I drink now that I don't have soda but I do find myself drinking more coffee since getting the keurig; something to watch. Bella, the soup is because of you always having a pot simmering.....tried your chili, scrumptious, and I made split pea that was super good. Made a ham and bean but it came out very bland, so I added green chili sauce in my bowl, made it good, but I threw away that recipe. i'll get another for northern beans.....but it was probably bland because I didnt use a ham hock, just ccubed ham. Next time I see hamhocks in the store think I'll buy a few for the freezer. You are my inspiration Bella, and you are so strong. Even though you arent a hugger, I always feel as if Ive gotten a hug when you leave me a note. Thanks for your support and you and Mushy have a super day! Love ya!
