DuManchu's Journal, 28 January 2011

Nearly decided to sleep in and put off P90X till my lunch break. Glad I decided to drag myself out of bed because I doubt I would have stuck with the lunch time workout.

Did legs and back today, wasn't bad really, there are only a few exercises I really struggle with and that's usually not until the last few reps.

Ab Ripper X, on the other hand, was absolutely brutal today. I pushed myself harder this time around and was completely wasted at the end.

I finally calibrated my scale correctly, I think, and it's now reporting I'm at 20.1% body fat. That doesn't seem right to me so I need to get my new scale all set up and calibrated to test it against my current one.

I just started P90x last week, again. I love and hate it, especially ab ripper. But I am already seeing results, which just encourages me to push harder and keep going. My husband and I do most of our work outs together at lunch. He is in the military, and is able to come home at lunch for a workout and then go back to work. I just turned 30 and I am hoping that this will be the year that I am in the best shape of my life. What kind of scale do you have?

I've got a Homedics body fat scale. Just got myself a Taylor glass body mass scale that measures muscle mass, body fat, bone mass, and water. Hopefully that one will work a little more consistently than the Homedics.
