My thoughtful friend baked 2 full pans of lasagna and a loaf of garlic bread for me this past Sunday. She likes to bake for me and wanted to treat me to a week of lunches (so that I don’t have to plan meals to take to work). She’s thoughtful and generous.

However... my body doesn’t do well with empty carbs and I have little self-control. Empty carbs put me on a craving and overeating spiral for days and I end up constipated.

I froze the majority of it so that I won’t be tempted, and I put my foot down that I cannot accept anymore food. But I did indulge on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, and now my body is paying the price.
157.2 lb Lost so far: 1.8 lb.    Still to go: 17.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
