I decided to go up a pound out of the principal of the thing. Besides, I couldn't see which it was anyway.

I have been atrocious in my eating! Even after I confessed the other day I continued!!! So this is it. This minute - which happens to be 12:14 pm on Tuesday. I am one week stone cold off sugar of any kind (except Splenda or stevia). One week! Not even my Dove dark chocolate which has gotten completely out of hand anyway. Now I might have 5 or 6 when I started out only having one. And yesterday and this morning I finished off the chocolate chip cookies I'd left for Sara and Bill that they didn't even eat!

It doesn't even matter if you guys join me. I am a mess. And the saddest part is that my mood has also dropped into the gutter. Geez. Is sugar really poison? As Susan, my co-worker, likes to say? I think I'm actually mildly depressed. Heavens. Jackie deserves better. I'm going cold turkey. Any takers?

Luckily after my tough time with Sara and Bill the other night it got tons better and we ended up having a pretty good time together. I can't help wondering if the sugar had something to do with my attitude. So sad. Well, we said we were going to watch ourselves. I need to learn from these mistakes.

Okay for now...

Okay, I'm with you on the absolutely no sugar for a week. I lost all of my weight when I ate zero sugar. I've let it creep in here and there as well. I even let myself have coffee for 3 mornings in a row, and Monday felt a complete mess from it. I also had a post asking if we wanna redo the veggies. So I'll do both, yes veggies, no sugar. If you want to see the article with reference to sugar meaning no loss, it is from a blog on that 100 rep challenge site Ame had. You might be able to find it by googling it. Kim, look at your weight history chart. And, yes, me too. I was just thinking this morning how sugar is creeping back up. So are the carbs. The scale showed it this morning,.

sugar is poison, and yes it effects my mood as well, it may taste good for that short seconds you are eating it.. but then whammmm, you see the scales and mood goes down, I know when I eat it I feel horrible inside, sick even so I believe that some people eat way to much of it.. a little is ok but not over indulge. I for one am fine without it, it is hard to watch others eat it and I not eat it, but I try to remind myself the second of pleasure equals a few days of feeling horrible. Which is better?
