BSF: 101
Vicky and I continued our research and looking to purchase a treadmill. We stopped into Dick's this evening and they were liquidating all of last years models of treadmills. We picked up a Livestrong LS10.2T-2, a $999 treadmill for $539.

Now we have to make room for it.

Hi Paul. The treadmill works best when you set it in front of the TV. Find your favorite channel and spend a lot of time. Don't over do it the first few days. It is easy to get too motivated and end up with leg cramps and muscle aches. Good luck.. Don't delay the purchase.

Desperate, Vicky and I are walking about 8 miles a week right now. We have both the treadmill and recumbent getting setup in the dining room looking in to the living room tv. We are now walking at a pretty good clip about 3 or 4 times a week. We try to stay just below the shin splint level on our walks. Stepped on scale this morning and I seem to be back on track. Getting more stable each day.
