100% for closely followed doesnot mean I ate good foods. It means I recorded everything I ate 100%.
I didn't want to weigh in until Monday, but thought a marker before the weekend started would be good. Visiting relatives and 5 or more soccer games in Xenia this weekend, means a lot of fast food. I wanted a marker so I could have a goal of at least maintaining this weekend.
Yesterdays walk was an eye opener. I decided to use court shoes since all other shoes are leaving a burning feeling under the balls of my feet after the 1st mile or so. And it worked my feet felt great. What didn't work was the additional weight of court shoes. I couldn't maintain a 3mph pace, my legs ached and burned the entire walk. And I'm really sore, since I didn't give in and stop.
The eye opener; Sore from a >3mph walk? I've really become a slug. I was disappointed with a 5mph pace a decade ago. Post high school an 8mph pace was alright i guess.
Long term goal sub 6mph pace. Short term (5k in Aug with my sis) anything close to or under 4mph. But 3.5 is likely more realistic.
