I’ve been eating about 1500 calories a day and cut back a little on carbs and sugar and I lost 10 lbs in a month. Hope it works for you too.

I tried keto too a while ago and had horrible headaches that would not go away, I was drinking tons of water too. So for the past two weeks I have been eating around 1200-1300 a week and trying to eat lower carbs at dinner and I have lost 8 pounds already! I have decided calorie counting is what works best for me, I don’t feel deprived bc I can eat any food I want and if I need to I will just eat more calories that day, but so far I have stayed around that range and it has very well! Good luck!

I keep saying there's no such thing as a "one-size fits all" diet. What works for one person won't work for the next. You gotta find what works for you. Your plan sounds reasonable, hope it works for you!

Works for some...but I'm not one of 'em. Good luck finding a way of eating that's sustainable for life. 👍🏼

I had a real problem doing high fat, low carb. I don't think it is for everyone. you know what you need and can still lose weight.

Thank you all so much it is really refreshing to know other people have experienced the same thing! I kinda felt like I failed the diet and had tons of feelings about deciding to quit the diet and try something different

I try to keep telling myself. don't be on a diet. Make real changes that I can live with. I really didn't cut anything completely out. I Just try to make OK choices. But I live a real persons life of eating.

We are all the same. But different. And those differences count. Do what your body is comfortable with and live the way you can. Be safe ❤️

Keto just isn’t for everyone. And that’s ok! I’ve been doing keto for about a month now and I feel great, but I have friends who have done it and it didn’t work for them. Just do what works for you

I'm not a big believer anymore in "diets" or anything unnecessarily restrictive. Focus on lifestyle changes and ways to work the things you enjoy into a way of life.

I have done keto for about 18 months. Hit my weight goal after 10 months, kept going and lost a bit more. Still loving it a lot.

Good for you. Have you heard about Bright Line Eating?

Wise decision, it was the worst thing that happened to me as well. I had my worst cravings and my hormones messed up, my immune system shut down and I was tired and miserable. I currently eat a lot of food and a lot of carb ( mostly whole food) and I feel great, I built a lot of muscle and lost fat.
