auntshell's Journal, 21 October 2008

What a night last night I gained 3lbs at my weigh-in. I'm not eating enough and my water consumption was really low this weekend. We'll see what Tuesday holds, I'm watching more closely the amounts that I'm eating and I think I might float away with the amount of water that I'm drinking.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to survive the weekend? My schedule is totally different and I seem to lose track of things.

You're really doing great and your weight is down even if it is fluctuating a bit. Im not sure what kind of problem the weekend gives you. Is it because you are at home more and able to snack? or is it that you are off the times you normally eat?? It might help if you make sure to eat all your meals and pre-plan for snacks. Skipping a meal can cause us to make bad choices or eat too much later. otherwise, your chart looks better than mine...maybe you should be tellime me how to survive a weekend, your doing a great job.

Suggested daily water intake is 1/2 your weight in ounces. ie. 264 X .5 = 132 oz X 30 ml = 3960 ml = ~ 4 Liters/day. Try to drink water if possible. Fruit drinks, soda, etc has additional calories. Are you skipping any meals? Horomones can be contributing to your weight gain. Yes, weekends are tough. If possible, try to keep a similar eating plan/schedule to your weekdays. Keep us updated, Auntshell. Good luck!
