GOOOOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!...day 502...been layin in bed wonderin if i had lost anymore so when i got up i had to weigh...down another pound...almost back to what i was before my gain...slow an steady...another day off from walkin..my knee is better, but have decided to give it the rest it needs and gonna get on the floor later an do floor exercises..just enough to limber up...not any real kind of hard exercise...just an easy stretch kind of workout...been gettin up later since im not going out to the shop an doing weights, so guess i need to reset the alarm clock once again for an hour later...been watchin my food intake really close this last few days that i havent been walking and ive been makin sure to drink my water an it seems to be helpin alot...at night if i have the munchies, then i have been havin a 1/4 cup of dry cereal an water to chase it down an thats been keepin me from havin something i shouldnt...better the cereal then something thats gonna add salt or sugar to my system ...and although ive been drinkin the extra water, its worth gettin up an extra time or 2 at night to see the loss on the scales in the morning....not to sure what im gonna do to amuse myself today, but gonna have to find something if thers no good movies on tv...not alot of things left to sort or go thru, the closet , the drawers, have all been sorted an resorted several times, gettin pretty thin in pickins in there...i did try on a pair of 42 jeans yesterday again since its gettin colder..and mabye by thanksgiving i can wear them...the 42 shorts are fitting, but naturally its to cold for them now...37 here this morning...brrr...almost glad im not able to go walking...lol...and ive been thinkin about my walking also...and what the owner at the gym said when we talked about walking...ive just been walking till i get tired..usually 1 hour or so...he was saying to just do 30 min walks, but try an speed them up...doing faster walks would burn more calories instead of longer walks...i have been doing lots of thinkin last few days tryin to regroup and get my plan bck into place for when i can start walking again...have already decided the first few days will be short walks until im sure my muscles are healed once again...as i do think i pulled a muscle on back of my knee or close to it...been takin advils an stayin off it as much as possible...well need to get up an go find breakfast...get this day started again...hope everyone is doing great again today!!!!!

Hey Mike -- looks like you have a sound plan for your day! I have a "to do list" a mile long....if you are bored - let me know and you can help me with the list! It's Sunday and that means FOOTBALL - gotta watch my Vikings sail over your Bears! LOL -- we are both 3-3 so fairly even match up. Have a wonderful week and WAY TO GO on the loss -- you are my exercise and weight loss mentor!

Hey twin! You need to take up knitting or something! :) You could knit Fat Secret scarfs for all your buddies, so we can keep walking outside in the cold weather! Keep taking care of that knee. You are still doing great!

Hope the knees better! I've also heard about doing the shorter, more itense walks. That's definitely something to consider. I'm more likely to put more into my workout if I know it's going to be short...

Your trainer at the gym is right on the money! He gave you GREAT advice! Shorter HIGH INTENSITY walks are beneficial. For me - personally - longer walks can even become boring after a while! Say - changing the subject - thanks for the much needed "pep talk" over on my journal today. The pep talk had what I interpreted as a scolding tone to it - which often helps me to "snap out of it." After almost four months at FS - I am STILL adjusting to the up-down-down-up-up-up-down-down-up-up-down part of dieting! I am sooooooooooo tough on myself that I EXPECT to see a down-down-down-down image. Maybe my expectation is UNREALISTIC and WRONG!

if it was that easy to get the weight off cobra, then the turn over on fs woudnt be like it is on here...people dont see the fast results and get discouraged...and often times they leave....gettin the weight off is an everyday routine that takes time, just like it did to put it on....

Yes, Cobra, I get bored and miserable if I do the same thing for too long...
