Good morning!

I'm 600 grams down in weight today. Not too shabby.

I did great yesterday - and I'm gonna do great today.

Yesterday, I saw a chance to go for an "intermittend fasting day". I ended up under 600 calories. I felt great, no hunger at all. It was actually pretty easy.

I didn't actually skip any meals yesterday - I even had two breakfasts. Not bad for a 600 calorie day.

Today is all planned out too.

Light - but filling - breakfast, two eggs.

No 2nd breakfast, as today is not a workout day.

Leftover chili con carne for lunch. TONS of that 10 minute burn chili (TONS is about half a drop in this case. lol)

Leftover chili con carne for dinner, before I go rock out with the kids.

That's the food I have allowed myself today. It should be enough. The chilis are nice, large portions. I should be good with this.

This will bring me to 610 calories. :)

I've started weighing in on my old scale - my smart smart scale of times past. It records the fat percentage through the entire body. I like it better. Besides, it's the same scale as I used when I reached goal last time, so the measurements that it does are fairly comparable.

I was shocked this morning, though. My fat percentage said 7.4. I measured 3 times to make sure.

Now, this is probably a temporary one, but I couldn't help comparing with my last weight loss journey.

Last time I reached 7.4 percent fat, I was at 82 kilos! So this essentially happens about 9 kilos earlier than last time. Damn.

So, how much of that is muscle? It's hard to me to fully see though all this, but that's okay. I see numbers that I'd like to be lower getting lower. That makes me happy.

So today, I'll just keep truckin'... I have my food planned, I have enough meetings to keep me occupied at work, and I have teaching to do tonight. I don't need to go to any stores and I won't have to walk by any places that trigger emotional hunger. I should be good. Now, it's just a matter to DOING it.

I have a few stressful cases I'm working on this week. This made me wake up over and over again last night. I had to turn to mindfulness (or my simple little version of it, anyways) and have that help me go back to sleep. I am dead tired this morning. I hope I will wake up during the next few hours, so I can get some work done. I have a meeting today, where I should be getting some help and insight on some of this, and I know this will help. I can't wait to have a good night's sleep tonight. :)

Anyways, I'm doing good. Seeing (and feeling) the differences is a great thing, even though the scale just stays the same. I can live with 90 kilos if the fat is gone. It's a sign that I'm working, not eating. That's good.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Intermittend fasting today. And yesterday. :) This is a first, but I know I can do it.
- Morning coffee after a night with not enough sleep.
- A good, fun day planned out.

Life is good!

Congrats on the loss, Keld 7% bf seems crazy low to me. I remember you body fat percentages of yesteryear. What I wouldn't give for that. The lifters like Nimm and Diablo seeM to have low numbers like that. Of course they work toward it. Have you ever talked with them about it? On the one hand, I would say, it suggests a good amount of muscle, but then my bf has really low number like that, but he's super, super skinny.

That's a great suggestion, Helewis, maybe I should ask them. I do think it's not a fully correct number. I am convinced of that. My gym's scale said 15% when mine says 11. 15% was probably more correct. However, what I find most interesting is of course the CHANGE in the number, how much it has gone down. I find that too crazy! :)

Agreed, I feel like those numbers can be all over the place from at home scales, but whatever direction it's moving in has gotta be correct, right? So if its going down thats a good thing!! 7% is crazy though!! Good plan for the day, enjoy!
