MommieAnya0220's Journal, 29 September 2008

So you could imagine my happiness and glee when I got on the scale this morning to see the damage from this weekend's music fest.. and beers and half a funnel cake, and a chicken gyro... I walked ALOT this weekend.. My legs and feet are currently vary sore...... And it earned me almost a 2 pound loss.. to 268.5.

Goodbye 270's.. 1.5 more pounds, and I'll be at 30 pounds lost since my heaviest.. 4.5 pounds since starting SBD and exercise.

I've found some great recipes on this site that I absolutely loved and my dad and sister did too! I made sausage and veggie stuffed peppers this weekend, and a low carb, low fat pumpkin cheesecake. Totally love that each recipe was customizable.

I hope you guys enjoyed your weekend! I know I did and I'm just very excited about the outcome!

Oh, and Owen and I went to the playground/park for the first time today.. I wish I could show you the smile he had on his face when he went down the swirly slide all by himself. I love that kid.. MY kid!

268.5 lb Lost so far: 23.5 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great job on the loss! When you have a lot of walking it always allows for a little bit more leeway. Sounds like you had lots of good fun cooking for family and with your son. That's nice to hear.
