Okay, so I'm up .3 of a pound today because my lovely mother brought home donut holes... powdered ones. I am proud to say that I didn't fully indulge...but I had 3. The calorie count for 4 of them is 230.. So, I didn't do as badly as I could have. I don't remember eating any veggies yesterday... I was going to have a late dinner as well with some homemade breadless cordon bleu and a salad, but I fell asleep while holding Owen in my lap in bed.. I had a long stressful day, thanks to school-work and something my mother said has been ringing in my ears for the last couple of days. But I'm glad it's only .3 of a pound, and not 2-3 pounds.

I'm going on a walk after Owen finishes with breakfast. And then onto a full day of studying studying, and entertaining my goober.
272.6 lb Lost so far: 19.4 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Concentrate on you... Sometimes people can say things without understanding the real impact they have. I hope you find peace. You stopped yourself at 3 and that's what counts! You can do it! Plan at least one vegetable today!

For whatever the reason, even people who know I'm dieting continue to bring me cookies and sweets (it's like they have some evil conspiricy to foil my master plan!). My plan of attack is to give all of it to my friends, or take it to work, so it's out of my reach, and you'll be a hero to those people when you bring them home made cookies and brownies :)

I totally understand diet sabotage from mothers. My mom was the worst for keeping crap in the house, and even when I tried to eat healthier (which honestly, didn't happen much) she would talk me into going to eat someplace REALLY unhealthy and/or talk smack about how ridiculous other people's diet plans were. It was not helpful. Good luck working that out, and remember, she is just another human being in the world, and while she may know you better than most, she doesn't necessarily know what's best for you!
