Nice lil drop to start the week off right.

I raised my RDI yesterday to 1700. It was nice to not be worried all day about having room for a proper dinner. Probably all psychological but that is more than half the battle here I think.

I got my new gps/hrm/cadence sensor in for the bike. Monday is usually an off day, but I wanted to ride! Turns out the stupid device must be charged before use anyway, lol. So I worked on the bike to get it all set up for it. I shall ride tonight!

Yesterdays meals were good with the exception probably of lunch. Curry Chicken and Egg Roll from Chinese shop. Not horribly bad here on base. Dinner I made fish taco's with a 'lil chicken. It was good. Wife was happy.

More video games last night, but I stopped early and slept nicely.

Oh, busted lil kitty Spooky eating off our counters! We dont like them on the counters, but they get up there. Kitty was chewing through the wrappers and eating our flat-bread. I was not happy. Big sister kitty Perl is so good, no trash diving, clean, no counter eating. Kitten is a wild ride. Hopefully she will learn. She was a rescue from base so she needs to get used to house living and not fending for herself in the streets I guess. I have some nice kitten food ordered, so it should take care of itself.

JP, you can get a little motion detector air blower thingy that you put on the counter to scare the cat. It's absolutely harmless to the cat, it only leaves a few emotional scares from scaring the living cr*p out of them once or twice. They you probably won't see her on the counter again. :)

Thats a great idea keld. I need to look into that. She is pretty scared when I come yelling and bolting across the kitchen too, but I cant be there all day protecting my flat-bread! XD

Nice new toy for your bike - great inspiration. I love Keld's idea about the blower for the counter. When we sit down to dinner away from the kitchen if we don't cover everything one of my kitties will have a ball til DH goes in and knocks him down. It is probably my fault because when I adminster meds or check blood levels I do it on the bar by the kitchen. :( Looking up motion detector air blower thingy on Google now. :)

JP - woohoo - you were right! Seeing Spooky and Perl made me very very happy! I adore black cats - they often have great personalities!

Glad I could help HCB, and Neptune, yes our little one was a rescue from the street, she is pretty tame and loving but brings some bad street-cat habits, digging in trash and eating our food. She will learn! lol. She actually does seem to be learning pretty quick, when I holler No!

I can't believe you were eating less than 1700 a day & doing all those bike rides & being strong & muscular! Wow. Your new gps thingy sounds cool; enjoy the heck out of it! I'm sure Spooky will learn; like the motion sensor air blowers idea. I had a cat years ago that was sneaky; came home from work & found tongue prints in the butter I left out. He learn (I did, too, got a covered butter dish, then stopped using butter, lol.

Hehe, Crabby Kat, I am sure she will learn, and so will our family to not leave food out. I am surprised on how different Spooky is to Perl. But she is a kitten.
