I just did some date calculations at:
http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html

I wanted to make sure I could schedule some rounds between some very important eating temptations (work luncheons, my Bday, and other things) that are coming up from now until the holidays. As of today I only have 23 more pounds to go to get to my goal weight. I want to be at my optimum weight for my height and body type which I think will be 135. My main mission is to be below 25% body fat when I am all done and I actually see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I did the date calculations and since I start phase 3 on 8/3 and will have to wait more then the regular 6 weeks until 10/09 to get back to phase 2 because I have a luncheon for work on 10/8. (I will use the luncheon as part of my loading). I can then squeeze in a 1/2 round (23 days) of p2 and then have 3 full weeks of low carb before Thanksgiving gets here and I can splurge a bit then for Thanksgiving plus we usually have our work "Thanksgiving" the week before. I will have to do 3 more weeks of phase 3 after Thanksgiving which puts me in the middle of December before I can do another round of p2 and there won't be enough time to do even a half round before Christmas.

I will try to do some alternate day dieting in between phase 3 and Christmas and see how that goes. Then I will just wait until after Christmas and whatever I still have to lose after Christmas I will start my last round of p2 after that. I am super excited though even with all the temptations coming up. Normally I start to get nervous about how much I will gain during the holidays. Now I know that I can do it and I will make it all the way. It will probably take that last p2 round after Christmas to get completely set at my optimum weight which means just over 1 year to get rid of all my excess weight but I am supper happy even though right now it feels like forever. With my metabolism issues I have never even had this kind of hope that I would ACTUALLY reach my optimum healthy weight.

Like I said I know I can do this now. After that I am going to do some more research on seeing about healing my thyroid. I have been measuring my basal temperature and it is consistently about 1 degree lower than it should be. I want to see if I can get that to go up to normal so that my base metabolism will go up as well. I do have to say that it was 97.5 armpit (should be 97.8 armpit) today which is awesome and the highest it has been in many many years. That is my next mission, to get it back to normal and there is some great new research on that....lol.

I think worrying about others is what helped make me fat... Celebrating success with others is gonna help keep me thin! :)

Great point as I sit here after sabotaging myself drastically today. Bad day and it was all internal stuff. Thinking about others and getting too much attention when I would much rather stay under the radar has been an issue with me for a long time. I will have to work harder on the emotional stuff!

You can do it. I am working on it too...It's hard. Although, Exercising is helping me with the emotional stuff, it "cuts the edge" 30 minutes of something (walking, swimming, weight training). Look how far we've come with the weight, if we can do that, we can do the emotional stuff too!!!!Today is a new day!
