I ran across a show yesterday called 'The Last 10 lbs Bootcamp' and it was such a wake up call for me. The woman in this episode (1/2 hr shows) had gained about 30 lbs but wanted to get into better shape for a family reunion in one month. She was given a personal trainer and dietitian. The traineer made her do such incredilbly exhaustive workouts 6 days a week, and the dietitian emptied her fridge and stocked it with pre-portioned weekly meals so she didn't need to go to the store at all. She managed to lose 11 lbs but the best thing was how great she looked in the jeans and halter top 'party outfit' she bought. She wasn't skinny by any means, just really toned and fit looking. I NEED TO EXERCISE!!! I just have to find the time to move and sweat and make my muscles (once I find them) burn!! But I'm scared!! It's WORK!! LOL
126.0 lb Lost so far: 4.0 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.5 lb a week

You inspired me! I just did my 45 minute yoga dvd. It makes me feel great...just takes up soooo much time! My kids take an hour and a half nap but that's when I get everything done!! I'm going to do my yoga on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I NEED to! Doing it once has made me feel 2 inches taller just by correcting my posture!! I'm actually holding in my gut!! By the way...no sweating...just slow, controlled movement. It even got rid of my sinus headache!! Join me in yoga!!

I'm such a huge proponent of excercise. It's work for your body, but your mind doesn't have to see it that way. Try new things that challenge parts of you that you've forgotten about. It's rejuvenating, refreshing, and dang empowering to feel that euphoria after a good, hard workout. Find what you love and do it, do it, do it!!! :)

I have found that if you don't "exercise" it's a lot easier. Wait, that didn't make sense. I will explain. Like, I play raquetball with my friend and its a great workout (600 cal an hour) and swim and those are both things i LOVE to do. You need to find something you enjoy doing that's good exercise, like take relaxing bike rides to wind down from the day. (Most people choose to sit in front of the TV to wind down) Find the time!
