I'm not restricting my diet as much with the holiday food around me. I also have a hard time with not eating animal produts on a daily basis. I'm pondering if I should stop weight training, and incorporate yoga into my exercise routine with cardio instead, I also have a friend that swears by turbulence body weight training to be the best for getting her into shape, and she's just as curvy as I am.

It all depends on what your fitness goals are. I incorporate strength training/circuit training 4x a week for an hour. I do cardio 6 times a week for 30 minutes. I would like to add some yoga/pilates in there too. I want to lose body fat, build muscle, tighten everything up, and work my heart. There is a benefit to each one. But strength training is what helps you reshape your body composition and lose inches. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn at rest, the more easy losing weight becomes, the more easy maintaining your weight at goal.
