Up a bit today to 208.8.

Yesterday was one of those mid-week cheat days that came on, also known as doing pretty horrible on the diet, lol. It is odd as this usually occurs after work when I am home alone, so maybe something I need to look at. Wife and Daughter were out to dinner, and son was at baseball. I was not unhappy, maybe lonely. I had lots of urges to snack! Maybe the carb monster!!

I have noticed if I bicycle more, I have a need for a mid week splurge on a meal, or a few snacks on Tues/Weds. So I am considering bumping calories from 1500 to 1700/1800 perhaps.

I did not ride my bike last night, it was very windy.

Honestly I just need to try to stick to this program, and keep doing what I am doing. Try not to slip up, etc.

I know that I am super tempted to snack when I am alone. I do think it's boredom, at least for me. I find that if I activate myself, like watching a movie (that is good enough that I don't get bored with it) or play music, then I easily forget that I want snacks. Oh, the wonder of being simpleminded. :)

...and an interesting note on biking vs. midweek snacks. I experienced somewhat the same when I would bike a lot at home. It was a lot easier to fall in. DEFINITELY something to look at. You burn more calories, so your body wants more.

Yeah Keld, due to my laziness last year with my messed up foot, and realizing being a sloth made it very easy to stick to my rdi, VS biking a lot and starving all the time, I have tuned in a bit more to that side of appetite and hunger. Still cant seem to get the boredom and emotion thing going. That is more of a compulsion vs a physical need. Hmmm. I sound smart.

Try more small snacks and shrinking your serving sizes. A more steady stream of calorie intake might help. Don't let yourself get to the point where you feel hungry, just eat every two to three hours. It works for me (unless there are cookies, then it's more of a crap shoot) I'm hoping my reboot is going to work this shift (so far, so good) and I will be able to log a weigh in that pushes me under your weight...I'm back on the wagon buddy, so watch out...here I come!! Later.
