Today is my birthday! Big double nickels 55. Can hardly believe it. My daughter sent me beautiful flowers at work.

I bought a dozen donuts for the work crew today and put them in the break room. They had my favorite kind there - powdered with white cream inside - so I didn't even buy one. Didn't want the temptation.

Going to LongHorn Steakhouse for dinner because I can eat there without blowing my diet. I already looked at the menu. I am going to get 6 oz sirloin with sauteed mushrooms. And a mushroom appetizer (I love stuffed mushrooms). And maybe a broccoli side or side salad.

I just have to ignore the bread on the table. Step awayyyyy!!

I don't know how I gained a pound. Seems like eating that cereal on Monday knocked me pretty good. It's ok, ups and downs are a normal part of life, right?
