I believe, because of my diabetes, mostly, that a diet devoid of carbs and filled with proteins and fats, is not working for me. I need the reduced carb, but, the way my liver reactsd to the overabundance of protein in my diet is making sugar control difficult.

I think adding more veggies and taking away some proteins/fats may be a better way to go.
202.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 27.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Try carb cycling! You can google it. It's where you have higher and lower days on carbs. Many people don't do well without enough "good" carbs (meaning low on the glycemic scale). So carb cycling works better for them.
