Chewing Jello's Journal, 26 January 2019

So I changed my diet to Keto. I plan to use IF too. 150...(40#) by March 6 is the goal. Yep time to get serious. After looking at my diet history I have been FARDLING around with this 30 # for the last 5 years. 186 to 207 and back again several times. I know my line is blue and I have not made that goal yet but I am setting a new one to go with my new life. Wish me persistence and will power.

Good luck! Keto and IF go very well together. Make sure to get enough electrolytes (take magnesium everyday!!)

Do only us dinosaurs not know what fardling is? Of course I get the gist of it from the context, but am wondering if this is a new urban word? I started trying to play with Keto for health reasons, after Thanksgiving and although it's going good it has been a hard transition for me. I am doing IF generally 16 to 18 hours a day, and that is going better. You are on the right track.

I actually learned "to fard," years ago, from listening to Rush Limbaugh. (If my political leanings were amystery, I've just now ripped away the mask. Horrors!)

I wouldn't get the meaning from Respire8's post, as I know the verb "to fard" as a Middle English term for making up the face. (As in, "You can't fard and drive at the same time.")

I picked it up from an old book. It is a fine replacement for the EFF word.
