amehaffey's Journal, 02 October 2012

I fail every weekend lately. I have been dieting since July and am down 20 pounds, but lately I am fed up. My family eats whatever they want and it makes it harder to be around them on the weekends. Plus, I am social and drink when I am social which has been several weekends in a row because of my stress level. Does anyone else run into this or have any suggestions to stay on track?

Yea weekends are my hardest too. But dig your heals in and keep going. your doing something right because your chart looks awesome. It may take longer to get there but you will eventually. Just remember you can never go back to eating the way you used to. Most of us can never eat what we want all the time because it makes us fat, lol. Sad, but true. Better to be healthy and look and feel good.

HCB, Thank you. I will join your group and hopefully get some support! Suzi, I agree. I feel like I have made quite a few changes. I no longer crave french fries and even when I pig out, it is a slice or two of healthier pizza intead of 1/2 to 3/4 of the fatty greasy pizza. I think I am finally starting to mold and I tend to choose better foods and snacks! Thank you so much for the nice comments!

Oh how I miss french fries. They can be attributed to at least 50% of my weight gain.
