Well. Looks like I'm up two pounds. Don't know exactly why, but I do know I followed the plan "reasonably well." Maybe I do know. Yesterday's menu: Breakfast: green smoothie. Lunch: Large green salad. However, last night was so warm and beautiful, my husband and I sat on the porch till late and had a few drinks. For dinner he had 5 take out chicken legs and potato salad. I never really ate anything but a few reduced fat Triscuit crackers. I was drinking low sodium V8 juice with a little vodka. I had 3. I know the Triscuit crackers had about 150 calories, the 3 V8s had 210 (3 x 70) and the vodka about 300. That's only 660 calories for my whole evening. I occasionally drink alcohol, not too often though, but I'm sure that didn't help. Certainly not enough to truly 'gain' 2 pounds... and I know, the crackers are not on E2L, but it's a rare guilty pleasure. So, it must be the sheer volume of liquids in my stomach plus maybe more salt than I realized. SO, just like I like to try to help each of you out when you are shocked by a 'gain" when you know you've been good, it is nothing to worry about. Your body will dissipate it on it's own terms. The REAL thing you have to remember is to NOT let it burst your bubble and PIG OUT the next day! I know that is so much easier said than done; cos I'm living it too. :)

208.0 lb Lost so far: 45.0 lb.    Still to go: 59.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is always easier to encourage others than yourself!!! Stick to it: focus on how much you enjoyed the time with your husband and enjoyed the drinks (V8 is nutritious right?) Fluid will go and you will be under that 200 mark before you know it!!! You have lost SOOOOOO much!! Congratulations.

Yes - I agree! Stay with it and don't get too discouraged! You are aware of what you are eating and that is so very important. Hey, how is your dog doing?

Ahh, thanks for asking, she is doing alright, about 75% I'd say. You are such an inspiration to us all... I can follow my diet almost perfectly, but I NEVER want to exercise. However, you have now shamed me into telling my husband to put that damn exercise bike where I can see the TV...

LOL - that is a great idea! You can pedal away while watching your favorite shows! I am so happy to hear the dog is getting better and stronger!! See, your faith in her did it.
