This is going to be long... When it starts to show that you lost weight, people tell you. Then they ask how much did you loose, you tell them 36 pounds etc... When you lost 36.5 pounds and they ask you again, people expect that you tell them that you lost another 10 pounds, like on ''The Biggest Loser''... Nope, just half a pound...That's what I hate about programs where you weight yourself in front of everybody, live... I don't feel like a failure right now, but I'm a bit frustrated. Oh and 41.9 % body fat
215.0 lb Lost so far: 36.4 lb.    Still to go: 49.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.4 lb a week

the first report (of 36 lbs) is a lot more fun, isn't it? sorry you're frustrated! we're still moving toward our goals!

p.s. not sure if this would work for you, but I like to set my goal weight high (ie, at next mini goal) cause it makes my graph really slanty. keeps me motivated, cause a half pound looks like more than it would if I had my goal weight set lower.

i completely understand your frustration - i dont discuss numbers with anyone other than FSers for that exact reason. but you are doing a great job no matter - keep it up!

Hon, I'm in the same boat. Every pound is slow, but gain is fast. I have to watch everything. I see others lose with little effort, and I think, "Hey, why can't that be me?" But it's not. Girls like us just have to be vigilant, and focus on being healthy. It's coming off. And it will stay off because it's not fast. AND, our skin will not be hanging because it will have time to tighten at the slow rate. So give yourself a hug and know you're not in it alone.
