After being stuck at 195.6 lb for two weeks... realizing now I didn’t record that... I finally dropped a pound. Still now back to my lowest at 194 even, but getting there. I think I figured out what has made me stall for about 2 months now. The weight has not come off and has been up a pound, down a pound for months now. Besides stress from divorce and custody, I have been relying on Atkins bars, treat bars, etc to satisfy my sweet cravings. While low in carbs, yes, I saw a post on the Keto subreddit about how Malitol had thrown a wrench in their weight loss as well. These Atkins/fake candy bars are loaded with it. And I was eating one almost every day. I gave them up “cold turkey” two days ago and I’m down a pound already. I feel and look less bloated. So, going to continue my little experiment and see if I can make the wheels continue turning on this weight loss! I figure it’s worth a shot since fake sugar isn’t healthy anyway!
