Lost 3.2 lbs of steak and taters in one day! 211.2 today. Well back on track!

Just went for an 18 mile bike ride. After my two day layoff, cheating, and the party I felt outta shape. Actually, I got into my groove at about an hour in, but it was hot. So I headed in.

I had a glorious recovery meal of eggs, ribeye steak (leftovers) and my veggie mix of late (peppers, onions, mushrooms). All fried in butter (1 tbsp!). It was devine! I service it on a wheat flatbread so its like a taco/burrito.

Tentatively I have plans to ride Tues and Weds evening this week. And back to my Friday AM long ride.

We'll see, we also have an Iftar feast planned for Thursday. Iftar is the breaking of the fast after sunset during Ramadan, its more like a huge dinner buffet, a feast! They tend to run late though, like at 8-9PM or later. This is way after when I like to eat. We have never been to one, and want to check it out. So if I do this on Thursday i may or may not be ready to ride my bike at 530AM on Friday.

I am off today as it is a flex week because one of our colleagues is on holiday in Bulgaria. He says it is real nice over there, and very cheap. I was looking at it too, and Turkey. Not much on agenda, eating right, and who knows.

I have been a bit depressed due to the corporate nonsense and them pulling the Japan opportunity from me. But a week ago, I did not know about it, and was content. It was dirty pool what they did, but hey, i dont need to let it rent space in my head, or sink to their sh**ty level.

Today I am grateful!
