Tomorrow will be the beginning of my fourth week on Atkins. I guess I should start using this journal thing. I'm still trying to get used to eating breakfast and even lunch. I've really enjoyed experimenting with different flavors of flax muffins, though. My favorite was just this past Friday when I introduced a small amount of nuts into my diet -- a Brown Sugar-Cinnamon-Maple-Chopped Pecan Flax Muffin in a Minute and Thirty Seconds. I also just recently discovered Fiberfit, and my coffee (and anything else I use sweetener in) is so much more enjoyable now! Splenda packets were okay, EZ-Sweetz was better, but this Fiberfit stuff is amazing. It's pretty expensive, but well worth it, if you ask me. Hope they don't stop making it anytime soon.

I went for a couple of 45-minute walks earlier in the week, but now that the kids are out of school, it's going to be a bit harder to get that walk in. I'm guess I'm going to have to break out the Wii Fit, which hasn't seen the light (not even with the kids) in well over a year now. I can do without most of it, but I remember really getting into the step aerobics, and the rhythm boxing is pretty interesting too.

So after three weeks, I've only lost about 7 lbs., but my goal is only to lose 28.5 in total, so I'm almost a quarter of the way there! That's as of this morning, anyway. By tonight, the scale may read 134.5 again. How I go up and down 3 or 4 lbs. in a matter of 12 hours is beyond me, but I read that it's pretty common, so I'm going to try not to stress over it too much.

I'm off to try to get my house straightened out a bit. I love that I can add housework to my exercise calendar. I'm aiming for about 4 hours today. Good luck to me!
