Mowed the lawn today. It's funny to me how just pushing the lawn mower over the yard can be tiring. Though I am really, REALLY grateful that I have a gas powered machine to use instead of the rotary lawn mower my dad would have me use when I was growing up. THAT would have been really dreadful. In other news,I was able to plant the seeds for my broccoli and spinach yesterday as I had hoped to do. I made sure to water them both yesterday and today, now it is just a matter of waiting to see if they sprout at all. I should know within two weeks whether or not things are progressing ideally. Not much else going on. I am doing decent on my calorie intake today- even remembered to record everything. So hopefully the light activity that I do every now and then will contribute favorably to my weigh in tomorrow.

I love gardening! I don't even mind mowing, though I haven't been the one to do that for a few years now. I used to mow nearly 3 acres at least once a week when we were in Louisiana--but not with a pushmower, though I did a lot of weedeating and maintenance by hand. Now, our country property here in Texas is so big hubby mows it, and our city property's lawn isn't ready, but it's so small hubby cut the weeds with a weedeater last weekend. I'm really into container gardening right now--though I do have a large raised garden in the country, while in the city without a garden spot I'm working in pots. I have some herbs in the window right now. I was trimming them this morning and had to laugh at my cat who jumped up on the ledge and seemed to join me by biting off the tips of the parsley plant while I was trimming out a few dead leaves. :) Guess she thought it looked like fun! Ha! Blessings to you!

Wow! That sounds really nice! What do you do with all of the stuff from your garden? Is it more of a vegetable or flower garden? Lol about your cat. That's really cute. Congrats to you also on your ongoing success! Take care!
