I'm having a difficult time with carbs. My doctor says no more than 40g net carbs per day and 80 g of protein. The protein is not too difficult except that I'm not used to eating so much meat. I much prefer veggies & fruits and now most of those are off limits, along with grains. Doctor's app't on Friday, and I don't want to step on the scale until then. In the meantime, I've given up alcohol for Lent, that alone should take a few pounds off. To be continued...
