biblioholic03's Journal, 13 August 2009

Yesterday was Day 1 of Extreme Fat Smash. And things went pretty smashingly. :) I ate well but had a bit more diet coke and coffee than they allow (just needed to stay awake!) I wasn't able to exercise unfortunately because I'd planned on doing it after work and before a meeting I had. Well, got home and the neighbor's dog had been hit by a car and run off so people were out looking for it and I joined the search party. The dog was found, but I'm not sure of it's condition (not very close to my neighbors).

Anyway, the one thing I think that is going to hinder my weight loss is getting a proper amount of sleep and having a regular schedule. I am going to concentrate this week especially on getting to sleep (not bed, but SLEEP) by 11:30 (hahahahahaha) and getting up at 6 in order to exercise and walk the dogs before work. As that has not happened this morning I'm not off to a very good start.

Thanks everyone for all the sympathy for my grandpa, that's greatly appreciated.

Alaina

I've done Extreme Fat Smash before. I'm not sure why I stopped to be honest. I remember it being fairly straight-forward though. (eat healthy and exercise) Sleep is definitely important, I think that's a great goal! When you sleep enough, you'll have more energy for exercise. (Which helps you sleep better!)

Sleep is very important to the weight loss cause. I'm guilty of not getting enough sleep too. Doesn't help that I'm a night person. When you start a new plan there's a learning curve. You'll get into the groove soon. Good luck!
