WATER WATER WATER Reading the news today I see some stories about 8 glasses of water not being a necessity for health and that we should drink for thirst. Good news for some of us with some bathroom issues I guess so not I do not have feel guilty for that omission at least. Science making progress. Good news for me. I am running today.

Because the original study was misrepresented. The original study accounted for all water including in fruit and vegetables and tea etc.

There was an original study... I thought it was just one of those things that was repeated so many times it became a truth. Nothing wrong with drinking water. I do do that especially after runs when toilets are nearby LOL

My doctor told me once to drink enough to not be thirsty and that often works out close to 8 glasses but not to worry about it. So I don't.

Mostly it’s just a habit to drink more water, like anything else. I drink a full glass before eating to fill up faster, a full glass upon waking to rehydrate, and plenty throughout the day. Keeps hunger at bay, keeps the skin clear and bright, and prevents brain fog.

Liv, no such problem anymore. No more woke up in the middle of the night either. Previously I can't stay at one place long enough without having to use the toilet 😅.
