Hello Friends! Super busy yesterday - have a job offer that I am mulling over right now. Gives a lot of freedom and flexibility - but can be taxing because it's a PM start up. Salary is what I have proposed to them :). I've been doing PM writing for the company for some time and developing some PM methodology / process documentation in my "spare time". Scary and exciting opportunity at the same time - I am ripe for this change so I will be having further discussions on Monday.

On the eating front ... I stayed up late and overate my RDI last night. I didn't track because I was out most of the day and then busy last night, but I know by now what extra dollops of butter and cream does. :( I felt deprived because I have been eating limited choices since the tooth incident! Funny how that plays on the psyche!!!

One day isn't going to hurt you. You needed that extra anyway because you stayed up late. Have to feed the furnace, so to speak. How exciting about a new job opportunity with more freedom. WOO HOO! I like the sound of that! Good luck to you!

Hey Jenn... Mom is right on! If it were me with that hectic schedule, I'd probably try to make out my portions ahead, so then it'd be ready for me to take to work with me. An extra-boost for me is to carry a protein drink in my purse at all times for those times when I think I need something extra. You could make yours anything, but having it on hand is the key. Best of luck to you in your new job adventure!!

No idea what a PM is but good luck on getting the job if that is what you want. I do the portion thing for lunches as I cart them to work. I fen take apples or other fit with me if I have errands to run.

WFN: PM is a Project/Portfolio Manager. Can be for any type of business. I have done it for food manufacturing and logistics and special events.

Had no idea.. so basically a project manager for lots of things. I relate portfolio manager as associated with investments: mutual funds, the stock market, financial. I work for a mutual fund company so my frame of reference.

In fact, portfolio is using that investment concept and applying it to projects. Tracking the investment made in projects to see return on investment, net present value, aligned with strategy, etc.
