( I work at at a fast food joint as a supervisor)--A regular customer started to "diet", after seeing my results, was talking to me yesterday- I told him that I could not really exercise- due to my knees giving me fits.. He said that he is borrowing his parents "ab lounge 2" from his parents, and is working out everyday with it and it does not hurt his back, or knees. I thought, Ok I will go on Amazon and check it out.. New one cost around $480- and used one $119. I thought ok... not now but I will save up for it..
Today, my wife and I were paying a bill, and saw a garage sell with a bike. I told her that I was going to check something out.. the bike, they were selling it for $150.. but right next to it, was.. ab lounge sport.. for $20.. (just checked it out on amazon.. 109 dollars for a used one)...
Now it is sitting in our living room..lol.. Barbara (my wife)informed me though I can not use it until I reach my first goal- I thought oh cause I will loose weight faster.. No she responded cause it has a weight limit of 250 lbs.. lol..

Tell her, "now you got jokes..." I love it! At least you made the effort which shows your heart is in the right place, and that is to start exercising. Don't worry, the weight will come off because your determination will get you there. You can do it.

That is a great find, excellent deal. You could still give it a try, I'm sure it's able to hold more than the labled limit.

I had an ab lounger...it definitely worked, just make sure you're using your abs and not your legs or arms to make it move...that was my biggest problem...and space, I moved into a small house and didn't have room...enjoy!

SCORE! A bargain is good. A healthy bargain trumps that!

Yes! Good find. Those are $85 at Walmart! I am notoriously cheap so I appreciate that find!

When we have a firm intent, the whole universe conspires to help us, I love this!

It was fate! :) And I bet it supports more than the weight limit they have listed. They use very conservative estimates. (From the person who climbs on the top rung of the 225 lb max step stool at work ALL THE TIME. lol) I'm thinking of checking into water aerobics at the y for the same reason.
