I was going to do a 500 kcal day today but completely forgot and got up and ate breakfast. I will do it tomorrow instead, and move my weigh-in to Saturday which will hopefully be more encouraging.

Also there was homemade cake at work for a retirement today, and I had a piece of delicious chocolate torte (I had to guess the calories for my food journal on here). I wanted it, had it, and enjoyed it- and I'm glad because I don't want to become a diet bore and I know I'm trying to maintain long term- and I don't want to never eat lovely cake again! But I don't want to waste calories on treats that I don't really enjoy.

Anyway I'm aiming to keep at it today and tomorrow, have a sensible day on Saturday but enjoy the evening party, and get back to good eating on Sunday to limit the time off.
