Ruhu's Journal, 31 July 2014

So excited for my trip, but started to come down with what feels like a sins infection yesterday, so I'm off to the ENT this afternoon. Luckily, I got the shipping together & UPS is to pick it up soon, and all the other household chores are done that need to be before I go. All I still have to do is pack, which I've been doing in my mind for days already. I've been to a workout, hoping i'd feel better after, but not so much, really. So, I'll plan some rest time this afternoon, get on to my packing now, but first, I'll pray --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

And through this one day, and each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion, I'll pray, breathe, log, journal & express my way. I'm so grateful for each of amazing you, my family & IRL friends, seeing my boy tomorrow, and having the health & wealth to live this life I love! xoxox

Hoping you feel better before your trip. Try and get a good night's sleep. You are soooooooooooooo, got to put emphasis on the word, CLOSE to goal.
