Just can't eat 1600 calories per day. I feel like a pig and gain weight at the same time. As all have said 800 is too low, so I'm going for 1000. Have to find a happy medium. I lose weight at 800 or less, but it's torture and I think of food all day (well, I do that anyway). Hello everyone! Hope you have a positive day!

You would't think about food if your diet plan was around 1200 calories, which is the minimum doctors recommend. 1600 is too much for you, I agree. On my previous diet when I was starving myself I was also thinking about food all the time, had dreams about it. I just couldn't wait until the morning to have breakfast etc. Your body is trying to tell you that it needs more food than just 800 cals.

I have also heard that 1200 calories a day are the minimum recommended by doctors. Try on that and persist. The results will come in the long run!!!!
