The scale is NOT budging...an ounce up, then an ounce down, no real movement. I've been bad about keeping my calories up this week (maybe too low?). But generally I stay in 1500-1600 range (maybe up to 100 cal more if I work out). Generally very little restaurant food or highly processed groceries. Also could be my digital scale. I noticed when I move it around the kitchen floor I get different readings. In one spot it measures nothing and just blinks. Thinking about buying an old-fashioned, spinning Healh-o-meter. Thoughts?

1. First off check your sodium and water intake. you can retain water from too much sodium. if that is good its something else. 2. i see that you have lost 20 pounds already. reassess your BMI based off of your new weight. then 80% of that number should be the number of calories you should be consuming. if you are at that number now then you could be building muscle and losing fat so your scale will not change. at this point you need to determine if your pants are fitting looser or you look different in the mirror. taking measurements and not basing everything off your scale reading is a good idea. Also assess your energy levels. if you are not getting enough sleep or drinking enough water this will hinder fat loss. 3. if that still is not an indicator you can increase your cardio. 4. if all else is good, you need to indulge in a cheat meal to revamp your metabolism by increasing your lepin levels. for 1 meal eat more carbs and protein. eat until you are satisfied, but do not gorge. this will be more effective. Do not consume alcohol. it will hinder this process. Good Luck!

I had the same issue with scales as you did. A digital scale if you move it an inch either way will give a different reading (I have bumpy tiles). When I moved it to a smooth hard level surface my reading was consistent.
