Week 1 was a success. I lost 4.4 pounds and 1.3% fat. According to my Aria scale, I have gained 1/2 pound muscle and lost 4.9 pounds of body fat! I got on the elliptical 6 out of 7 days, one day was only for 10 minutes but its still a workout. I went from drinking no water to around 15 cups per day. And the only fast food I ate all week was my breakfast on my way to work, and that was either an egg mcmuffin or fruit and maple oatmeal. I have eaten more fruits and vegetables and nuts over this past week than I think I have for the whole year. lol.
This has not been an easy week. I have worked 6 out of the past 7 days anywhere from 12 to 16 hours a day. The kids have summer fever as they only have 2 1/2 weeks of school left and they are driving me crazy. lol. But it has been a good week. I have felt pretty good overall, not too hungry and not too achy.
This week my goals are to add 5 minutes to my workouts, putting me at 35 minutes per day, continue aiming for 15 cups of water and eating healthy foods, and to be more active on this site.
