I'm eating good today, I've upped my calories to 1800+ because I lowered the calories and my weight loss has slowed wayyy down. So I'm loading up today with good food, and fats. Tomorrow I start a five day fat fast. I'm pretty excited. I have lost 5.8 lbs this month so far. Last month I lost 10.6 lbs. I was hoping for the same this month, but with the lowering of the calories I saw a shift and decline in the weight lost. So today is prep day (good eating) for the fat fast ahead. My diet calendar is all set with 6 mini meals of high fat food of 1000 calories for five days. I hope for a few lbs lost. Get me closer to 10 lbs loss. I'll be happy with 8 lbs!

Today I'm wearing jeans for the first time in two years. I shed my yoga pants. I'm wearing size 15's. Yes, that is large. My largest size jeans. But I do not know how big I got as I switched to elastic and couldn't fit into these. But I'm wearing them today! It's a nice reward for my 9 months of efforts to lose weight! :)

Congratulations and wear your size 15's proudly. You worked hard to get back to fitting them. Soon they will be too big. I hope you have great results from the calorie increase.

Congrats! You are doing great! You might want to do some research on extremely low calorie diets because, like I think you discovered, if you go too low, your metabolism slows. Don't put your body into survival mode. Get the right balance of the 3 macros, carbs, protein, and fat. Check musclehack.com. Lots of great info. Keep working at it, you will succeed.

Just be careful not to go too much over your RDI (your real RDI, which we usually don't know). Eating a little more will increase our metabolism, but eating more than we need will inevitably result in accumulating those extra calories as fat :P. Good luck figuring this out! :)

Euheide, I did over like 150 over my RDI. I think next time I will stay AT my RDI...I'm maintaining my weight as of today.. I'm ready to lose some like yesterday! Thank you all for your kind comments!
