MommieAnya0220's Journal, 14 October 2008

This morning, I've come to the conclusion that I'm scared to death about starting my clinical practice tomorrow morning. I haven't been anywhere near the job market in almost 3 years, and even though I'm not getting paid, I'll be getting evaluated at how well I'll be doing.

Plus, I'm also worried about my sister watching over my little boy all day tomorrow. She hasn't spent all day with him, and I'm just scared she's going to get overwhelmed. She won't be able to call me where I am tomorrow, so I'll have to check in on him during my coffee breaks. I know I DESERVE this time away from him, but it's like I'm just worried she won't know what to do. She doesn't know CPR..

Okay okay, I'll quit doubting her capabilities. I guess I'm just worried about how smoothly tomorrow's going to go. I have to leave here an hour and half early just to be on time with traffic and I'm so bad at being on time for things. Maybe it'll help me since i'm not going to have to tote all my son's stuff with me, and just worry about me.

Also, I came to the conclusion that if I have an early afternoon meal (3 hours after lunch..) that I can skip dinner and do a workout, and then have a small snack afterward.... It might be able to change things up. I think I just got tired of the same ol'same ol, ya know?

We'll see how it works.

First of all, YES you do deserve to have time away, but second... get a hold of your local fire department and get her fanny into the CPR class!! There is no reason, as most offer it for free or only a $5 fee. She needs to know it and how to react. YOU deserve that peace of mind, too. ;) Take a deep breath and jump in both feet forward tomorrow! I'm sure that all will be fine with your sister, so don't worry. She knows how to call 911, one of the most important things. :) Have your food prepared and a plan to put into action and go get 'em!
