Still in Italy. Overeating is not an issue this time. My uncle died, there has been the funeral last Friday. My grandmother was so much in pain. Her two children, my mum and my uncle, died within 2 years.
Anyway, now I am trying to relax a bit before going back to Germany. This time I am not afraid about my job. I think I will be able to focus. I learnt the lesson the hard way...
Ok, so heading to the supermarket, buying some bread. Tonight we are going to have dinner at the local fair. Yesterday we had a look at it after dinner (nearly at midnight) and there was plenty of people, eating all kinds of delicious food (it's still Italy).
So, tonight I don't know whether I'll go for "arancini" from Sicily, or roasted sheep meat, pork sausages, fried fish or baked pork. There's so much to choose from. I don't feel like eating everything at the same time, that's good. I just want to eat something I wont be able to find in Germany.
I am trying to relax as much as possible. On Tuesday it's my 30th birthday. Where I live in Germany there wont be any of my friends neither my partner, so I decided to stay here in Italy, with my father. We are spending the weekend at the seaside, trying to get rid of the tension from the past 2 weeks.
I am watching the first series of glee (it's fantastic!) and reading some thriller stories of a good Italian writer (Camilleri).
And watching telly, especially cake design programs. As soon as I am back to Germany, I'll buy an oven (microwave + grill), so I will start again to bake cakes and pizza. I am confident I wont overdo with baking and eating this time.
