A lot of cookouts = a lot of chips, which = a lot of sodium!!! Swelled up today. Need to drink a lot of water! Did keep up with challenges and workouts this weekend, but didn't eat great. Today is a new day and a new week. Someday I'll get there, lol.

At least you did your workouts!! We are making changes, even if we eat chips, we're still making healthy choices like doing the workouts and maybe not eating as much as we would have before, so we're getting there.

That is true, sometimes I remind myself I'm doing better than I was a this time last year! I went grocery shopping yesterday and got a lot of fruit and stuff to make healthy dinners for the week. A year ago, I would have gotten a lot of processed things for dinners, like box potatoes, hamburger helper, but I don't even go down those aisles anymore.

Still loving the squat challenge. This weekend I shook it up by adding some hand weights. They are only 5 lbs, but what a difference, I am sore today, glad it's a rest day!! I saw a thing on line called hot potato squats where you squat with weight on one side, then the other, then toss the weight back and forth as you squat. It wasn't as hard as it looked and made squats go by fast as I was really concentrating on catching the weight and it not hitting my toes, lol. Good work out though!!
