Day 23 (Week 4): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST
Well after my two social events this week-end I ONLY put on 1/2 a lb. True to my agreement with myself I am not recording it as an official weigh in, BUT this is very exciting. I could shed that in a day, easily. It's all part of not letting myself feel deprived :) I am going way low on the calories today (hopefully around 1k) in a partial effort to make up for it. Tomorrow I will likely be on the lower end (1200- 1300) and then Tuesday back to normal (15-1800).
Edit to add: Hmmm after dinner I am sitting at a whopping 700 and some calories. I think I may let it slide since Friday and Saturday were not so hot on the food front :) The Cajun Vegetable dish was an interesting change but I think the recipes needs to be tweaked. (I AM full and fairly satisfied, though which is a good thing> And I could go downstairs and have a cookie or two for dessert and still hit target low calories for the day.)
Walking; We got to our workshop early yesterday so I took a 20 minuet walk; it was a gorgeous morning and the church where the workshop was held had some wonderful trails. On the downside I was wearing sandals with heels and my knee did not thank me for it. It is not hurting, per se, but it feels odd so I am skipping the walk today since I am going to the gym tomorrow morning.
So Mr. C is sniffing around a little so I am going to try and do more veggies today. (thanks to Julie C for finally explaining that euphemism I had been trying to figure it out but not enough to ask just yet)
As I commented on Sararay's journal in a week or two I will likely start looking more closely at my protein count, carb count, and good fats amounts more closely to tailor my food intake to a more healthy balance. For now focusing mostly on calories and portions while following rough healthy choice guidelines seems to be working :)
Floor Goal: 250 (13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 16.5 down from when I first started watching in August, and 4 from now.) Mid-range: Weigh in at 245 for Thanksgiving with my folks, which is 18lbs from the beginning of the challenge. 21.5 from when I first started and 9 from now. Half way there!!!! Ceiling goal: Definitely aiming for this one now. I cannot weight! 1 year from now I will be at least 50 - 75lbs lighter How exciting is that! I am actually starting to be able to feel my ultimate goal weight is possible even though I still have a lot of work to do.
1st things first. Get myself to 250, then 245 then worry about the others!
