Big news in our household! My (6'3") baby was offered a full-time job at the engineering firm where he's interning this summer for after he graduates next spring :)! One off the payroll in 12 months & counting... one to go! With that great news & since I'm feeling great and staying my course, not even the stormy weather here in the northeast can dampen my spirits!

So, I'll begin my day in prayer and intentions for those in Oklahoma --

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

And for this one day at a time and each one meal, bite, moment & emotion today, I'll pray, breathe, log, post and express my way through. And, I'll add one more wonderful thing to my list of all I have to be grateful for! xoxox

Great news on your son's job offer! What a good feeling for the both of you. I like your quote on living one day at a time. I have to tell myself the same thing. I am somewhat of a "worrier" expecially when it comes to my children. I continually have to give them back to God instead of thinking I have to be the one to "protect" them. My dad always says it doesn't matter how old your children become you still worry about them. Have a great day!
