Hi everyone!

My MRI went more than well!! :)
I am so happy about that!
The energy to properly celebrate and enjoy is not here, since I had an allergic reaction to the contrast medium used to perform the test. I felt weak, deezy, nauseuos for the past two days. Today it seems to be a bit better. I went to see my familydoctor yesterday evening, and my blood pressure is low as well. He suggested to just stay home and try to relax.
I am heading to the local market, to enjoy a coffee outdoor (hopefully before it starts to rain) and read a very good Italian detective story/novel. I will skip climbing and swimming for the next few days, since I feel so weak.

Ihave no idea about my weight, since for the past two weeks I haven't been concerned about weighing in as first thing in the morning. I guess I am more or less stable. Will try to remember tomorrow.
I see, on average, I gained a couple of kilos after Easter in Italy. Right after coming back, I felt the extra kilos on my belly, since I was not able to close the usual pair of trousers. I think they have been converted into muscles with time, because I can close again the trousers but the kilos arestill there. That's just an hypothesis, I will check my weightduring the next days.

The past week I have been very nervous. Had a bbq with some Italian and German friends, I have eaten so much meat!! (and no bread). I see I have a name among my friend, for eating so much meat! The other days I did not feel very hungry, actually did not feel like eating at all. To try to eat something anyway, I had food I like very much, like Italian salami, milk, ice cream, cookies. It's plenty of sugar, calories and junk. I will try to go back on track during the next few days. Low carb low sugar does not make sense at the moment, since soon I will start again antibiotics therapy for bacteria in my stomach. It's nothing serious, but I'd better get rid of them, since they can enhance the chances for getting gastrites or stomach cancer in the future.

My German is improving. I am starting to speak more often, not only when I really need to. I feel less shy, and it's a big progress.

A few days before the MRI I started to do some body builders workouts. I am normally very shy in working out at home in front of other people (like my partner or my father or friends), but nevertheless I did. Sumo squats, biceps and so on. I put on some dance music (even if normally I listen to rock music) and got started. I had fun! As soon as I feel less weak, I will repeat that. It might be useful to improve both climbing and swimming, and to get rid of those fat rolls that are still there.

The past few days I looked at my self, by chance, in mirrors of shops or at the reflection in window shops. I was surprised my shape changed, I look more lean than I thought.

It's time to go out before it rains!
Have a good time buddies! Life is good!! :)

Good news about your MRI! Sounds like a great way to start your day, coffee and a good book outside. I'll admit I am a tad jealous!!! Life IS good!

Raining here in Tennessee but coffee on the covered patio is nice this morning. Take care of yourself and I am glad to hear your MRI went well!

Great news on your MRI. Hope you feel better tomorrow. I get dizzy spells too and I have never figured out why.

Yeah on the sumo squats! HA, I can picture that! AND they do pay off don't they! So glad the mri was clear and I am super jealous of your location and food choices! Enjoy learning the German! I use to "sing" German and had a blast!
