Naiomy's Journal, 12 August 2010

Well after tomorrow morning the mystery will be over... i'll learn what my weight is and what i have to do to fix what i've done. I'm ready to know.

Today i decided to wear a short dress, and for the first time in a week at least my legs look really good.. i can see the muscle definition i've been working for, but it was all hidden under bloat and water retention... i feel like at least back to normal, but i don't feel any smaller than i did before so the impending gain would be accepted.

i already know that if i don't hit my next mini goal by the designated time i'd like to hit it by, that i'll be ok as long as i'm working towards the right direction.. LOSING..lol.. and considering i've been big my whole adult life, i guess i need to stop expecting to be right where i want to be only after a few years going for it.

i'm content where i am.. and will just be that much happier once i hit my goals.. however long it may take me. :)

Wow! I just realized the same thing for myself. To not get so upset when I didn't hit my goal at the designated time I set. Your so inspiring for that!!

(i'm saying that now nikita..lol.. talk to me a week before my goal date lmao)... no really i need to start looking at this as a life long decision.. i think honestly if i hit my goal TOO fast or even at the dates i gave myself (which actually aren't horrible but still its a time limit) i won't learn how to maintain reasonably... so i guess if it takes me a little time to lose the weight.. i can also learn to be ok with that and wont' have a HUGE adjustment when maintaining comes.

That's exactly how I take it too!!! Two yrs ago, I ate salads for both meals and had oatmeal for breakfast and other things that was nutritious. I ate about 1200 a day. But it was the same thing for three months fruits veggies and protein. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. And was @ my goal. It was fast and to the point. Ask me if I kept doing the same thing when I got to my goal. Nope! I didn't know you had to make it work for life. Now I am finally getting it.

i've been struggling forever.. most recently since 2008 (after the birth of my son)... i've lost 63 pounds since 2007.. not the FASTEST weight loss.. but there's no way i'd want to ever go back there again!!!

I always said having kids messed Mommy's body up! I have five so it was a yo-yo since I was fifteen. But no more kids for me "Thank u Jesus".....(sorry had a moment) but I am making this my last time dealing with being overweight!

EXACTLY!! lol.. i "closed the factory" so now i have no excuse (not that i did before) but u know.. at 2007 i hit 227 lbs, and i had started trying to lose weight again... then i got PREGNANT!.. so as soon as he was out i was determined to get rid of this weight!... i'll never be able to wear a bikini thanks to my bundles of joy lol.. but i'll look fabulous in a one piece!! lol

lol I like the "closed the factory" phrase. I had a hysterectomy very young and I told everyone I "got rid of the crib". ; )

I feel the same about my abs. I have really strong abs but you can't see them under the fat and lose skin from having kids. So sad :( I'm sure your weigh in will be just fine
